Yogi Bear is the titular main protagonist of the cartoon series of the same name, He made his debut in 1958 as a supporting character in The Huckleberry Hound Show.
He was voiced by the late Daws Butler, the late Greg Burson and Billy West. In the live-action film, he was voiced by Dan Aykroyd. In Space Jam A New Legacy and Jellystone, he is voiced by Jeff Bergman. In Hey There, It's Yogi Bear!, his singing voice was provided by the late James Darren.

Also in the 2010 live-action film, when Jellystone Park is threatened with closure, Yogi shifts his focus from stealing food to saving the park, working with Boo-Boo and Ranger Smith to outsmart the antagonists and protect their home.
- Optimistic: He consistently approaches every challenge with a positive, upbeat attitude and an unshakeable belief that things will work out in his favor.

His mischievousness is characterized by his cheeky persuasion, masterful cunning, and creative problem-solving aimed at procuring food, often in ways that cleverly outwit the park’s authority figure, Ranger Smith.
- Rebellious: He consistently defies the rules and authority figures at Jellystone Park most notably, Ranger Smith. Rather than following the park’s regulations or behaving like a typical bear, Yogi is always scheming to steal picnic baskets from visitors.
- Is a Chick Magnet: In the classic cartoons, Cindy Bear is characterized as a southern belle who is enamored with Yogi, often trying to catch his eye and win his affection, even as Yogi is distracted by his schemes or pursuit of picnic baskets.
