What's The Work?[]
Dragon Ball is an anime science-fantasy action franchise from 1984, which focuses on a Saiyan named Goku going on crazy adventures and meeting all sorts of friends and enemies, while also protecting Earth from evil.
Who Is He?[]
Son Goten is one of the main characters of the Dragon Ball franchise. He is a Saiyan-Human hybrid who is the younger son of Goku and Chi Chi and the younger brother of Gohan.
What Makes Him A Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honarable: Goten has helped saved the world and universe numerous times throughout the series.
- Courageous/Reckless: Goten has shown himself to not be afraid to put himself in danger if he has to in fights.
- Energetic: Like his father, Goten is a very energetic and hyperactive kid.
- Unintelligent: Similar to his father, Goten isn't exactly the brightest lightbulb in the box.
- Hard-Working: Goten does the best he can to train and get stronger.
- Optimistic: Even when times are rough, Goten is usually a cheerful and happy-go-lucky person.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Goten seeks to be a hero like his father and keep his loved ones safe.
- Mischievous: Though he's usually the voice of reason and the one trying to be careful, Goten can tend to go along with Trunks' mischievous ways.
- Possesses Plot Armor: Goten was able to easily turn Super Saiyan at a young age and put up a good fight against his brother.
- Spiky Hair: Goten has the exact same spiky hairstyle as his father, and while he changes it as he gets older, it's still rather spiky.
- Big-Eater: Being half Saiyan, Goten has a huge appetite and eats and drinks a lot.
- Is a Blood Knight: Goten is often kicked out of fights against villains due to his young age and low experience in battles.
- Is a Chick Magnet: Goten is considered to be handsome by some girls, as he's shown taking a picture with a few in the manga and has a girlfriend in GT.
