“ | Whatever comes our way...whatever battle is raging inside us, we always have a choice. My friend Harry taught me that. He chose to be the best of himself. It’s the choices that make us what we are...and we can always choose to do what's right. | „ |

Spider-Man (real name Peter Benjamin Parker) is the titular main protagonist of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and the tritagonist Spider-Man: No Way Home.
He was portrayed by Tobey Maguire.
What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Peter has saved New York from various threats such as the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus and has never been shown to enjoy killing his enemies.
- Courageous: Peter regularly puts his life on the line to save people multiple times.
- Stubborn: Peter doesn't heed to other's protests when doing good. For example, despite his lack of superpowers and the protest of a bystander, he still rushes into a burning building to save a trapped child.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Peter wants to protect New York with his powers in any way he can.
- Hard-Working: He is heavily dedicated to his job as a superhero, fighting crimes for about 20 years by the time of No Way Home even as he got older and reached middle age.

- Possesses Plot Armor: Peter has survived various dangers across the trilogy.
- Oblivious to Love: While he has a crush on MJ, he does not know she feels the same about him until the end of the first movie.
- Short-Tempered: In the original trilogy, Peter displays highly vengeful tendencies, as well as having displaying a high amount of wrath when being possessed by the symbiote, notably yelling at his landlord when he asked for rent.
- Mischievous: Peter has a mischievous side to him and has been shown to tease several characters.
- Tragic Past: Like most incarnations of Spider-Man, his motive for using his power for good was losing his uncle Ben to a robber he failed to stop.
- Forgiving: Although he wanted to get his vengeance on him at first, Peter ultimately chose to forgive Sandman for killing Uncle Ben.
- Is a Primary-Colored Champion: Like almost every incarnation of Spider-Man, Peter's costume is composed of red and blue.
- Is a Mascot with Attitude: Peter usually has a quippy and witty attitude in his Spider-Man persona to the point he verbally interacts with his enemies and bystanders, not to mention the little dance he does as "Bully Maguire".
