Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, is one of the main protagonists of Marvel Comics, specifically as the main protagonist of the franchise of the same name.

What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]

  • Heroic/Honorable: Spider-Man has saved New York City from various supervillains such as Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus and Carnage.
  • Courageous: Spider-Man risks his life to save others to the point of having a few near-death experiences.
  • Energetic: Spider-Man is loud to an extent and enjoys swinging with his webs around the city.
  • Stubborn: Spider-Man wants to protect others even if they don't want his help.
  • Pursues a Big-End Goal: Ridden with guilt for his Uncle Ben's murder, Peter wants to make up for his mistake by using his powers responsibly to fight crime and help others as Spider-Man.
