Rainbow Dash is one of the six main deuteragonists of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
She is voiced by Ashleigh Ball.
What Makes Her a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Rainbow Dash has saved Equestria on many occassions, and displays a lot of loyalty toward her friends.
- Courageous/Reckless: Rainbow Dash is shown to be not be afraid of nearly everything, though she is often easily reckless and put herself in danger.
- Energetic: Given her ability is supersonic speed, Rainbow Dash is often portrayed as the most energetic pony in the Mane 6, and is generally both hyperactive and hotblooded.
- Stubborn: Rainbow Dash is very stubborn. An example is that she quickly does a "rainbow dry" on the wet Twilight before the latter could say something.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Rainbow Dash wants to become a Wonderbolt.
- Hard-Working: Rainbow Dash takes her flying skills seriously, and trains it often.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship: Though her reckless actions may accidentally make her friends unable to keep up with, Rainbow Dash considers her friends important. She once said that despite she loves winning, she loves her friends way more.
- Unnatural Hair Color: As her name suggests, she is known for her unique mane color of rainbow.
- Has an Idol: Rainbow Dash idolized the Wonderbolts to the point of wanting to become one.
- Mischievous: Rainbow Dash is an expert in pulling pranks and enjoys do so.
- Is a Blood Knight: Rainbow Dash has been shown to revel in the idea of battling monsters.
