He was portrayed by Alex D. Linz, who voiced Tarzan as a child.

What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]

  • Self-Sacrificing: After learning that the majority of the school, including Megan and Robe, is paying for his pranks by following Jindraike's more strict rules and being bullied more consistently by McGinty and Dobbs, Max decides to step up and face the consequences of his actions, even if it means being pummeled by the two bullies.

  • Mischievous: Max pulls pranks on his enemies and takes great amount of joy out of them.
  • Rebellious: Max rebels against Principal Jindraike's school rules after learning that the latter is closing down the animal shelter and is using most of the school's budget to replace it with a football stadium.
