Lewis, later known as Cornelius Robinson, is the main protagonist of Meet the Robinsons and the overarching protagonist of the video game adaptation of the same name.

He was voiced by both Daniel Hansen and Jordan Fry as a child, and as an adult by Tom Selleck.

What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]

  • Heroic/Honorable: Lewis saves the future from a dystopian alternative timeline where DOR-I5 rules a world full of mind-controlled people.
  • Courageous: Lewis is brave when the occasional crisis rises.
  • Stubborn: Lewis wants to go back to the past to see his mother despite Wilbur's objections.
  • Pursues a Big-End Goal: Being an orphan from infancy, Lewis wants to find a family who accepts for who he is. Unfortunately, due to having 124 failed adoption interviews, Lewis wants to find his biological mother who abandoned him at the orphanage as a baby.
  • Hard-Working: Lewis has many failed experiments when it comes to his inventions and yet he manages to stay persistent.
  • Optimistic: Though he had self-esteem issues, Lewis eventually gains the optimism to keep moving forward.
  • Believes in the Power of Friendship: Lewis views his future son Wilbur as his best friend and even forgives Bowler Hat Guy (aka his roommate Mike Yagoobian) when he realizes the latter has been manipulated by DOR-I5.
  • Possesses Plot Armor: Lewis manages to fix the time machine before falling down to a pit.
  • Spiky Hair: Lewis's hair is spiky and points upward.
  • Short-Tempered: Though he is overall a nice kid, Lewis has his moments of frustration and irritability, specifically when his inventions backfire or when Wilbur lecturing him with the Keep Moving Forward motto.
  • Tragic Past: Lewis was abandoned at the orphanage by his birth mother as an infant. When he got older, his adoption interviews were turned down due to his inventions' malfunctions causing the potential parents to reject him 124 times. Sickened by the rejections he received, Lewis sets out his journey to find the mother who abandoned him.
  • Forgiving: Lewis forgives Bowler Hat Guy for trying to ruin his future.
  • Is a Primary-Color Champion: Lewis has blonde hair and wears a white button shirt underneath a blue vest as well as red pants.
