Jinoo is the main protagonist of The Toy Warrior. He is a toy-loving 12-year-old boy who was chosen to be the savior of the Land of Toys ruled by Princess Sherbet after accidentally touching the magical Warrior Stone.
He was voiced by Mona Marshall.
What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Jinoo saves the world and the Land of Toys by defeating the Dark Warrior (aka the Toy Warrior).
- Courageous/Reckless: When the Land of Toys was in danger of a toy from the Dark Forces, Jinoo rushed into battle without hesitation despite not having awakened his Warrior Stone powers yet.
- Energetic: Jinoo is a fun-loving kid who enjoys riding on his skateboard and doing dangerous stunts as well as getting highly hot-blooded during battle.
- Stubborn: Jinoo decides to protect the Land of Toys despite Princess Sherbet's constant protest that he is not the Warrior Prince.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Inspired by the Toy Warrior, Jinoo wants to become a true hero in his own right.
- Optimistic: Despite being bullied by his peers for his childish fascination with toys, Jinoo refuses to let life bring him to misery.
- Idealistic: Jinoo believes that he can stop the Dark Warrior from destroying the world.
- Determined: Despite not being able to use his powers in the real world, Jinoo refuses to back down from saving the world from the Dark Warrior.
- Confident/Cocky: After saving the Land of Toys for the first time, Jinoo became cocky and let his victory go to his head.
- Self-Sacrificing: Jinoo is willing to risk his life to protect the world and the Land of Toys.
- Resilient: While he loses his idolization of the Toy Warrior, Jinoo manages to learn to be a hero by being himself.
- Youthful: Jinoo has a high fascination with toys and a dislike of being kissed by a girl despite being almost a teenager.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship: Jinoo befriends Princess Sherbet despite her bitter treatment towards him and is willing to risk his life to save her and the rest of the Land of Toys. He also forgives the Toy Warrior after the latter nearly destroys the world.
- Possesses Plot Armor: Jinoo manages to survive the destructive tornado that transport from the Land of Toys to the Dark Warrior's castle.
- Oblivious to Love: Jinoo was initially clueless about Sherbet's attraction to him and when she hug him, he mistook it for an injury.
- Spiky Hair: Jinoo has spiky hair.
- Short-Tempered: While he is overall a genuinely nice kid, Jinoo can be irritable at times, especially when Sherbet accused him of stealing the Warrior Stone and its power.
- Has an Idol: Jinoo looks up to the Toy Warrior and wants to be as heroic as him.
- Mischievous: Jinoo is shown to enjoy pulling pranks as a hobby.
- Is a Blood Knight: Jinoo enjoys fighting villains in the Land of Toys.
- Forgiving: Jinoo forgives Sherbet for not giving him a chance to be the Warrior Prince that the Land of Toys need.
- Is a Primary-Color Champion: Jinoo's Toy Warrior armor is blue and white with accents of gold.
- Is a Challenge Seeker: Jinoo wants to fight opponents to make himself worthy of viewing himself as a hero.
- Is an Underdog: Unlike his classmate Jason, Jinoo wasn't meant to be the Warrior Prince yet he proves himself to be a caring and courageous hero of the Land of Toys.
- Is a True Hero: Jinoo not only lives to be a hero, but also wants to go out of his way to protect his world and the Land of Toys alike.
- Street-Smart: Jinoo often comes up with plans by thinking while being in action.
- Has a Battle Cry: Jinoo imitates the Toy Warrior by saying "Nothing can stop the Toy Warrior!!!".
- Is a Kid/Teen Hero: Jinoo is 12 years old.
