Inosuke Hashibira is one of the two tritagonists of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
He is voiced by Yoshisugu Matsuoka in Japanese and Bryce Papenbrook in English.
What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Inosuke has saved the passengers on the Mugen Train, and along with Kanao, killed Doma, neutralizing a dangerous threat and the Upper Rank 2 demon.
- Courageous/Reckless: Inosuke always is ready to charge first into battle and barely thinks of the consequences.
- Energetic: Inosuke is extremely hotbloodedness.
- Stubborn: In battle, Inosuke often is very rash and doesn’t listen to anyone’s warnings.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Inosuke wants to prove how strong he is to the world by slaying demons and after finding about the true circumstances of his mother's death, decides to kill Doma to avenge her.
- Hard-Working: Inosuke trains very hard so he can improve his strength and kill demons.
- Unintelligent: Due to spending his childhood raised by boars, Inosuke shows a rather poor connection with the outside world.
- Unnatural Hair Color: Black with blue tips.
- Short-Tempered: Inosuke is known for possessing an extraordinary amount of wrath and often loses his cool.
- Has a Rival: Inosuke views Tanjiro as a rival due to him being stronger.
- Tragic Past: As an infant, Inosuke had two major tragedies, being born to an abusive household and after escaping his father, would lose his mother to Doma.
- Is a Blood Knight: Inosuke is obsessed with fighting primarily driven by his ambition to fight powerful opponents.
- Is a Teen Hero: Inosuke is 15 years old.
