Gromit (born 12th February) is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Wallace) of the Wallace and Gromit franchise.
He is Wallace's sidekick, mute pet dog, and best friend. He serves as the logical brains behind the duo, as opposed to Wallace being the inventive one, often having to save Wallace from many scrapes and calamities.

- Heroic/Honorable: Partakes in numerous adventures and commits lots of heroic actions alogside his owner Wallace.
- Courageous/Reckless: Is more than willing to save his owner and not only him.
- Energetic: He is incredibly energetic.
- Stubborn: Refuses to give up no matter what.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: To help his owner.
- Hard-Working: Much like Wallace, he is well-rounded and works hard to accomplish his goals.
- Optimistic: Much like Wallace.
- Self-Sacrificing: Shielded Wallace from Victor's bullet.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship: Is a good friend to his owner Wallace.
- Possesses Plot Armor: At least in A Close Shave and in A Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, Wallace saves Gromit.
- Forgiving: Towards Wallace at least.
- Is a True Hero: He and Wallace are currently the only characters in their show to pass the baseline.
