Goh is one of the main protagonists of Pokémon Journeys: The Series.
What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Goh has done heroic actions, such as making a Snorlax move in order to prevent a train hitting the Snorlax, and freeing a Suicune from Pokémon hunters.
- Courageous/Reckless: Goh constantly confronts different Pokémon despite some of them are too dangerous for him.
- Stubborn: Goh initially refuses to pick all Kanto starter Pokémon and initially rejects a Scorbunny to be his Pokémon as he wants his first Pokémon to be Mew.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Goh pursues to catch all Pokémon and he dreams of catching Mew.
- Hard-Working: Goh has been hard-working in his dream to catch all Pokémon, his work as a research fellow of the Cerise Laboratory, his work as a member in Project Mew.
- Spiky Hair: Goh has spiky hair.
- Unnatural Hair Color: Though Goh's black hair is not unnatural, Goh's hair is with red highlights.
