Frozone, also known by his real name Lucius Best, is a major character in The Incredibles franchise. He's an ice-themed superhero who is the best friend of Mr. Incredible, as well as a close family friend to the Parr family.
He is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson.
What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Lucius saved many people from a burning building along with Bob, helped the Parrs save Metroville by defeating the Omnidroid, stopping the Underminer's drill from causing more damage, and preventing DevTech's yacht from crashing into Municiberg.
- Courageous: Lucius would usually put other's lives before himself, like sacrificing himself to protect Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack from being brainwashed by one of the Screenslaver's minions.
- Stubborn: Lucius is willing to help the Parrs save Metroville from dangerous threats, despite his wife's protests.
- Optimistic: Lucius always keeps a positive attitude in his life.
- Determined: Frozone refuses to back down from a fight, no matter the odds.
- Possesses Plot Armor: Lucius has survived any danger he is involved in, such as being burnt alive from a burning building while saving the people inside it, being killed by the Omnidroid, and being brainwashed forever by the Screenslaver.
- Short-Tempered: While generally cool-headed and not as hot-tempered as Bob, Lucius does have his moments of getting worked up at times whether it comes to arguing with his wife while trying to find his super suit or watching the crappy animated short, Mr. Incredibles and Pals.
- Is a Primary-Color Champion: Frozone's costume is blue and white.
- Is a True Hero: Like the Incredibles, Frozone saves for the good of all of humanity.
