Buckminster, or just Buck, is a major character in Blue Sky's Ice Age film series. He is voiced by Simon Pegg.
What Makes Him a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Buck creates a plan to stop the meteorite from hitting the Earth.
- Courageous/Reckless: Buck never hesitates to save innocent animals from malicious threats.
- Energetic: Buck has his moments of being manic to the point of coming off as hyperactive and unstable.
- Stubborn: Buck usually prefers to go his own way despite the objections of those around him.
- Hard-Working: Sometime after losing his right eye and escaping from Rudy's stomach, Buck trains himself to survive in the Dinosaur World.
- Optimistic: Despite his downfalls, Buck usually finds the bright side.
- Possesses Plot Armor: After Rudy eats him, Buck climbs up from his stomach and swings with Rudy's uvula to escape from the former's mouth.
- Short-Tempered: Though he is easygoing, Buck can be volatile and lose his patience at times.
- Mischievous: Buck has his moments of playing pranks on his enemies.
- Is a Blood Knight: Buck finds enjoyment in slaying Rudy.
