Anya Forger is the deuteragonist of SPY x FAMILY.
She was voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki in Japanese and by Megan Shipman in English.
What Makes Her a Shonen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Anya has helped saved the world by indirectly assisting her parents in stopping terrorists and criminals.
- Courageous/Reckless: Anya has entered dangerous situations in a rash manner.
- Energetic: Anya is easily excitable on many occasions to the point of being hyperactive.
- Stubborn: Anya sometimes disobeys and goes against her parents.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: She wants to become an Imperial Scholar to help her father's mission.
- Hard-Working: Despite studying being incredibly traumatic for her considering her backstory, Anya is still willing to do it if it helps the mission.
- Optimistic: Despite everything she went through, Anya is still an incredibly cheerful person.
- Idealistic: Anya believes that world peace can be achieved simply by becoming friends with Damian.
- Determined: Anya is determined to finish her father's mission despite her constant failures and Tonitrus Bolts.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship: She survived the Doggy Crisis Arc thanks to Bond.
- Oblivious to Love: Is completely oblivious to Damian’s suppressed but rather obvious crush on her.
- Possesses Plot Armor: The only reason she even survives certain arcs and events is because of unexpected rescues, such as when she is captured by Keith’s men and is rescued by Yor.
- Unnatural Hair Color: She has pink hair.
- Short-Tempered: Can be angered at times when insulted on occasion, famously punching Damian when he did that.
- Has Rivals/Mentors: Damian is considered her rival and is mentored by Henry Henderson, her mother Yor and Sigmund Authen.
- Big Eater: Anya enjoys eating peanuts and has been shown to eat a lot of them at times.
- Has an Idol: Anya looks up to her parents Loid and Yor.
- Mischievous: Anya often teases her classmates and occasionally her parents at times.
- Rebellious: Anya is overall more laid back and less sophisticated than most students at Eden, and has many moments of disobeying orders to achieve her goals.
- Tragic Past: Prior to the story, Anya was a lab rat who was forced to study and was initially deprived of a childhood as well as a proper family. After escaping the facility, she was put in a poor orphanage and was returned there three times before being adopted by Loid. She also has to constantly hide her psychic powers under constant fear of being abandoned by her new adoptive parents.
- Forgiving: Encouraged a Red Circus member to redeem himself and live a normal life despite the fact that he attempted to kill Yor. She also forgave Bond for "killing" Agent Penguin.
- Is a Challenge Seeker: Despite her initial trauma on studying, Anya was excited to improve her skills in classical language with the help of Sigmund.
- Is an Underdog: Despite being younger, less prepared and overall less skilled than all her Eden classmates, Anya manages to keep up with them with persistence and practice.
- Calls Out Attacks: Anya has called out the following moves during the dodgeball episode:

- Is a Mascot with Attitude: Anya has a perky and cheery personality, is eager to do anything to help her parents, and many of her traits, such as her naivety, overt planning, and simple-mindedness can make her come off as cute to the audience.
